The Rotary Club of Kyoto Rakuhoku was established on September 6, 1973, with 23 Charter Members and with the Rotary Club of Kyoto East as our sponsor club.
Our main territory ranges from Kyoto’s Kita-ku east of the Kamo River and north of Kitayama-dori, Matsugasaki and eastward, Kitaoji and directly eastward and northward into Sakyo-ku, and we have endeavored to attract eligible members whose offices or homes lie within this area.
However, our area of activity is currently expanding and we have also been attracting participation from further afield.
